My Lord today made a disturbing discovery amongst our most holy of records. I am ashamed to admit, and have sworn a penance for my carelessness, that I have as Chief Librarian of our proud chapter that I have lost our initial history. Avenaume believes they are simply 10 entries in the same book he reads from. I have yet to tell him that they are actually 9 holy documents of our founding and that the 10th entry is a log of our first combat action, I read it once, years ago but cannot for the life of me remember what it was about.

I have checked with Hyran, and even he, the most venerable amongst us only remembers that the conflict was with black-souled traitors. I have sent contacts to my friends and contemporaries in those chapters we are close to from our founding to see if they have any ideas about what occurred. I think that if we discover what that combat was about we may have more clues as to why these holy relics have gone missing. I hope Wrenn of the Desolation Knights gets my message soon, if any are to have records of our earliest actions it would be memorialized in one of their great tomes.

The Master of Sanctity, Solun, believes that the arrival of the Purge in deep space may be associated with the lost relics. He also believes we have an internal issue to handle regarding the amount of trust we should be giving some of our captains. Most importantly 8th Co. Captain Guillame. I will discuss this more with him and the Chapter Master later, I must go meditate. The Warp has become clouded and my vision grows dimmer by the hour.
